Afghan researcher expelled from Iran for wearing hijab

Kubra Gholami, a graduate of Iran's Alzahra University, women's rights activist and researcher, was expelled from Iran for violating the mandatory hijab rules.

Axar.az reports that human rights activists have released information about this.

"Employees of the Migration Service of Iran summoned Kubra Gholami on July 1 and took his documents. "She was returned to Afghanistan for a short period of time because she violated the hijab rules," the report said.
