Mikheil Saakashvili, the former President of Georgia, engaged in adventurous actions in August 2008 due to external instructions, which led to a war.

Axar.az reports that this was mentioned in a statement from the Political Council of the ruling Georgian Dream – Democratic Georgia Party.

“The majority of Georgian society rightfully doubts Saakashvili's sanity. However, the fact is that Saakashvili’s adventurous actions in August 2008 were not the result of his psychological imbalance but were the result of external instructions and a well-planned betrayal,” the statement said.
