Warning issued for environmental problem in Iran

Landslides are currently occurring in 13-14 percent of the country, and those regions should be evacuated.

Axar.az reports that this was said by the First Deputy President of Iran Mohammad Arif.

He also touched on the issue of air pollution levels and pointed out that the situation is not good:

"Among 180 countries of the world, our country ranks 102 in terms of air quality."

It should be noted that one of the main causes of land subsidence in Iran is the depletion of underground water resources.
