Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is counting on international pressure on Russia to end the war on acceptable terms this fall.

Axar.az reports that EFE published information about this.

"Aware of the lack of good prospects on the front line and the risk that the military assistance of some key allies may decrease, Vladimir Zelensky is working on a unilateral road map to end the war and achieve a peace acceptable to Kyiv this fall, and is relying on international pressure on Russia," the report said.

The publication said that Zelensky announced his plan for the first time on August 27.

"I assumed that this plan could be implemented not by the will of Russia, but thanks to our partners," Zelensky said at the time.

According to information, one of the main levers to achieve this goal will be the success of the operation in the Kursk region of Ukraine:

"In parallel with the presentation of this plan to its partners, Kyiv is preparing to organize a second Peace Summit by the end of the year, and unlike the first, it plans to invite Russia. It is clear from the statements of Zelensky and other Ukrainian politicians that the purpose of the second meeting is to put pressure on Russia to agree to peace under the terms proposed by Kyiv in the document. At the same time, the effectiveness of this pressure largely depends on the position of powers close to Russia, such as China and India, who do not want to use their influence on Moscow to force Russia to fully or partially withdraw from Ukraine.
