The Ukrainian Armed Forces have started using drones containing a thermite mixture.

Axar.az reports that CNN has provided this information.

It was noted that the mixture, capable of burning through metal, reaches a temperature of 2,200 degrees Celsius and consists of aluminum powder and iron oxide.

CNN mentions that this technology was discovered in Germany in the 1890s and was initially used for welding railways. However, later, the thermite mixture was used for military purposes. During World War II, Germany and its allies dropped thermite bombs.
