On September 7, a Russian drone crashed in Latvian territory.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by Latvian President Edgars Rinkēvičs.

"Yesterday, a Russian military UAV crashed in eastern Latvia. An investigation is underway regarding the incident. We are in close contact with our allies. The number of similar incidents on NATO's eastern flank is increasing, and they need to be addressed together," the president said.

According to Lithuanian media, the remains of the UAV were found in the Rēzekne district.
