A meeting was held with the well-known Azerbaijani photographer Reza Degati at the Press and Public Relations Department of the Ministry of Defense.

First, R. Deghati was given extensive information about the publishing, multimedia and editorial activities of the Ministry.

At the meeting, it was emphasized that R. Degati, who rendered great services in conveying the truths of Azerbaijan to the world community, was with our people in the most difficult and tragic days and fateful moments of our country. His activities exposing Armenian vandalism and terrorism during the First Karabakh and Patriotic War, as well as after the historical victory, and his multifaceted works promoting the nature, traditions and culture of Azerbaijan were discussed.

A master class dedicated to the art of photography was held with a group working in the field of communication of the Ministry of Defense. The participants were informed about the stages of development of the art of photography, the history and genres of photography, as well as the possibilities of modern photo equipment. Speaking about the intricacies of the art of photography, R. Degaty specially noted the importance of paying attention to documentary, authenticity, completeness and reality, which are the main points in the photo.

A film reflecting the life and creativity of the Azerbaijani photographer was presented to the participants of the master class.

Answering numerous questions of the participants of the meeting, R. Degati shared his rich memories.

At the end of the event, a photo exhibition depicting the activities of the Azerbaijani Army, especially the period of the Patriotic War, was viewed.
