Qatar to Allocate $4.5 Million to Help Gaza Strip Residents

Axar.az reports that an agreement has been signed between the Qatar Red Crescent Society, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), and the Qatar Development Fund.

The funds are intended to support 4,400 Palestinian workers from the Gaza Strip, as well as enclave residents who came to the West Bank for medical treatment before the conflict and are unable to return to their homes.

“The cash assistance will be vital support for the displaced people who have been unable to return to the Gaza Strip since the conflict in October last year,” the statement said.
