The Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution of Germany has accused the Russian Main Intelligence Directorate of being involved with cybercriminals.

Axar.az reports that this is mentioned in the office's cybersecurity report.

The agency prepared the report in collaboration with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), the U.S. Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), the National Security Agency (NSA), and other international partners.

The report claims that the Main Intelligence Directorate has established a "Unit 29155" responsible for cyber threats.

According to the information, the unit is involved in espionage, sabotage, and undermining influence. The report also details the tactics and methods used by this unit.
