The Latvian Parliament has adopted amendments to the law on credit institutions that prohibit the use of the Russian language on the country’s ATMs.

Axar.az informs that this information was reported by the "Delfi" portal.

The report states that Latvian should now be installed on the ATMs provided by the country's credit institutions: "Additionally, the official languages of EU member states, as well as candidate countries for association, may also be used on the devices."
