Axar.az reports following the conversation, Macron shared a message in Armenian on his X account expressing support for Pashinyan.

"I had a very good phone conversation with the Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan.

I expressed France’s solidarity in response to attempts to destabilize Armenia’s democracy.

I also reaffirmed our support for his courageous efforts toward establishing peace with Azerbaijan and normalizing relations with Turkiye.

Peace and open borders would be a significant development for the entire region and an example beyond its borders," the post reads.
