The parliamentary delegation headed by the First Deputy Speaker of the Milli Majlis, Ali Ahmadov, will not participate in the 23rd meeting of the Interparliamentary Cooperation Commission of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, which is scheduled to be held in Moscow, Russia.

Axar.az informs that this was reported by the Press and Public Relations Department of the Milli Majlis.

The reason for this is the demonstrative, purposeful, and extrajudicial killings and violence against Azerbaijanis on ethnic grounds by the law enforcement agencies of this country in the city of Yekaterinburg, Russia, and the fact that such cases have been regular in recent times.

Taking into account the above, the aforementioned visit of the Azerbaijani parliamentary delegation has been canceled.
