NATO's new chief prioritizes Ukraine

The main priority is to increase spending for the defense of Ukraine and the alliance.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by NATO's new Secretary General, Mark Rutte, who began his duties today.

"Our priorities remain the same. We must ensure Ukraine survives as an independent democratic state. When it comes to our defense and deterrence policy, we need to spend more and enhance our collective defense capabilities," Rutte said.
