The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hakan Fidan, will visit Greece within the framework of the work carried out in the direction of solving border issues in the Aegean Sea.

Axar.az reports that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said this in his statement to journalists.

"Together with the Prime Minister of Greece, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, we gave political support to the negotiation process for solving chronic problems between our countries. Our Ministry of Foreign Affairs has started a comprehensive investigation on this issue. Both sides have a desire to identify these problems and find concrete solutions. Our Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan will go to Greece and hold talks on these issues. We will discuss this based on our holistic approach to the Aegean. Turkey and Greece are two neighboring countries with historical ties. The principle of friendly neighborhood is the key to a formula that will benefit both countries," Erdogan said.
