I am not responsible for the disruption of the peace talks on Ukraine.

Axar.az reports that former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson wrote this in his book "Freed".

According to Johnson, Kyiv independently decided to end the ongoing dialogue with Moscow in Istanbul in April 2022:

"This is complete nonsense. Ukrainians will never agree to Putin's terms. By the time I arrived in Kyiv, the world's media had already covered the alleged war crimes committed by the Russians in Ukraine, and no Ukrainian leader could agree to a peace deal and then stay in power for more than five minutes. "My job was to convince Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky of the support of the West and, above all, Great Britain."
