The Russian army has approached Sudzha during a counteroffensive in the Kursk region.

It was stated that the attacking forces have fortified positions near the "Lotus" fuel station in the southeast of the city.

"Additionally, the Russian army has taken control of the Sudzha-Belaya highway and launched an attack on the village of Martinovka, located 7 km east of Suca. There, the 810th Marine Brigade and 'Ahmed' special forces are engaged in combat. Control of this area will allow the Russian army to seize the heights near Sudzha," the report noted.

It was mentioned that attacks from the northwest direction by the 155th and 106th brigades continue towards Sudzha. In that area, the Russians control part of the village of Lyubimovka.
