Residents of three communities in the Kharkiv region will be forced to evacuate. This decision applies especially to the city of Kupyansk.

Axar.az reports that this was reported by Oleg Sinegubov, the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration.

He said that preparations for the winter season are underway in the Kharkiv region. The most difficult situation is now in the direction of Kupyansk. Brigades regularly come under fire in preparation for the season. On the left bank of the river Oskol, which separates the city, the restoration of electricity, heating and water supply cannot be guaranteed.

According to him, only 7,000 people live on both banks of the Oskol River. The head of the administration stressed that places for evacuation have been prepared in Kharkiv. 234 children and their families have already been evacuated from Kupyansk and nearby communities.

Sinegubov noted that the mandatory evacuation of families with children from Borovaya village of Izyum region was also announced today.
