Some details of the informal communication between the leaders of Azerbaijan and Armenia in Moscow within the framework of the CIS summit became known.

Axar.az reports that Sarkis Khandanyan, the head of the Standing Committee on Foreign Relations of the Armenian Parliament, said this in an interview with "Armenpress" agency.

According to him, the Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, proposed to the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, to hold a two-day meeting of foreign ministers in order to agree on the non-negotiable articles of the peace treaty. Iravan believes that after that the leaders of the two countries can meet and sign a peace agreement before the COP29 to be held in Baku.

"As far as I know, during the informal contacts held in Moscow on October 7-8, Pashinyan proposed to Aliyev to hold a bilateral meeting," said the head of the commission.

He added that although he does not know how Baku responded to the proposal of the Prime Minister of Armenia, he hopes for the "possibility of carrying out the meeting in the spirit of this logic".
