The Biden administration sent a letter to Israel demanding an improvement in the humanitarian situation in Gaza.

Axar.az reports that the letter jointly written by US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken and Defense Minister Lloyd Austin was addressed to Israel's Defense Minister Yoav Gallant and Strategic Affairs Minister Ron Dermer.

The letter demanded that Israel take action within 30 days. Otherwise, there will be a risk of violating the laws of the United States regulating foreign military aid, and the provision of military aid to this country will be in jeopardy, the letter stated.

It said that under US law, the State and Defense departments must continuously assess Israel's commitment to its pledges not to limit the flow of aid.

The deadline given to Israel coincides with the time after the presidential elections to be held in the United States on November 5.
