Armenia's ambassador to Ukraine, Vladimir Karapetyan, is heading to Italy for diplomatic duties.

Axar.az informs that this was reported by the newspaper "Hraparak."

"Vladimir Karapetyan, who has been working illegally in Ukraine for over four months, will be going to Italy, and the matter has been resolved. He was appointed as the ambassador to Kyiv for a three-year term on June 1, 2021, but neither the Foreign Ministry nor the president has issued a decree regarding his recall or extension of his term. The Foreign Ministry has not clarified on what grounds Karapetyan has continued his activities in Ukraine for nearly two months. A candidate for the ambassador post in Kyiv is also being discussed. According to some rumors, Prime Minister's advisor Ambartsum Matevosyan may be sent there," the report states.
