From October 17, 2024, Rosselkhoznadzor imposes temporary restrictions on the import of tomatoes, peppers, sunflower seeds, fresh melon products, wheat, flax seeds and lentils from Kazakhstan to Russia.

Axar.az reports that Rosselkhoznadzor has released information about this.

According to the information, the transit of wheat, linseed and lentil is allowed on the condition that the phytosanitary certificates of the representatives of Kazakhstan are issued directly to the country of final destination and the grain of Kazakh origin is transported directly to warehouses from railway wagons.

"The decision was taken due to the fact that the competent authorities of Kazakhstan did not take measures to ensure the phytosanitary safety of Russia", - it is stated in the information.
