Israeli special forces conducting an operation in Lebanon have detained a man named Imad Amhaz, suspected of having ties with Hezbollah.

Axar.az reports that this information was reported by Lebanese media.

It was noted that the operation took place in the city of Batroun, in a heavily secured area.

Previously, it was reported that I. Amhaz held a high position in Hezbollah and had connections with military structures. However, it was later revealed that he was actually a captain working on commercial ships. Nevertheless, local sources suggest that he might be involved in arms smuggling, with weapons allegedly being delivered to Hezbollah via maritime routes. This could be the reason for his abduction.
