Cargo plane crashes into residential building in Vilnius

A cargo plane flying from Leipzig, Germany, to Vilnius crashed while attempting to land at the airport.

Axar.az reports that this information was provided by Marius Zelyanus, a representative of Vilnius Airport.

The DHL-owned cargo plane crashed into a two-story residential house. There were two pilots and two company representatives on board the plane, Zelyanus said.

It was noted that rescuers were able to free the pilot from the cockpit, who regained consciousness. Two other people were taken for emergency medical care. One person was pronounced dead.
