Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky hopes that the outgoing administration of U.S. President Joe Biden will invite Ukraine to NATO.

Axar.az reports that Zelensky made these comments after meeting with the heads of European institutions during their visit to Kyiv.

He stated that the NATO foreign ministers' meeting, which will take place in Brussels on December 3-4, could be a window of opportunity for Ukraine:

"We would like recommendations from foreign ministers, but there are no illusions. There are those very skeptical countries, the United States is currently on the list of this skepticism. I do not know if the current President Biden will recommend this, but I know the vision in principle, as far as I know, of Secretary Blinken, he is more positive. But there is also the German side, there is also the Hungarian side, so only a consolidated signal can be positively perceived by all leaders."
