Israel and Lebanon are in a ceasefire, but the war will not end until security is restored in the north.

Axar.az reports that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said these words during his speech at a special meeting of the government in the city of Nahariyya, a few kilometers away from the Lebanese border.

"I emphasize that this is not the end of the war, but a ceasefire. We have a clear goal: to return the inhabitants and restore the northern territories. We protect this ceasefire with an iron hand and act against any violation, minor or serious," Netanyahu said.

It should be noted that the ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon (Hezbollah) entered into force on November 27.
