Greenland rejects Trump's US proposal

Donald Trump's statements that Greenland should become part of the United States shocked the island's population. Residents are against joining the US.

Axar.az informs that "The Financial Times" reported on this.

The publication also noted that, in addition, Greenlanders call for the expansion of the sovereignty of the autonomous region within Denmark.

"Now Denmark will have to listen more to Greenland. We have been demanding this for a long time," the call stated.
