China will appeal to the World Trade Organization (WTO) regarding the imposition of tariffs on US products and will defend its rights and interests.

Axar.az informs that this was reported by the Chinese Ministry of Commerce.

“The application of unilateral tariffs is a serious violation of WTO rules and not only does not help solve the US's internal problems but also undermines normal economic and trade cooperation between the two countries. In response to Washington's illegal actions, China will file a lawsuit at the WTO and take appropriate countermeasures to reliably protect its rights and interests,” the statement said.
