The Armed Forces of Ukraine have lost 45,100 soldiers in battles against Russia.

Axar.az reports that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated this in an interview with British journalist Piers Morgan.

"Exact numbers are very important to us. 45,100 people have died, and there are nearly 390,000 injuries," Zelensky said.

According to him, those who recovered and returned to battle, as well as those who were re-injured, are included in these statistics.

It should be noted that in February 2024, Zelensky announced that 31,000 soldiers had died on the front lines. On December 8, he stated that Ukraine had lost 43,000 soldiers in battle and that 370,000 had been wounded.
