The first Tu-214 aircraft will be delivered this year as part of a comprehensive program approved for the development of Russia's aviation industry.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by Russian Minister of Industry and Trade Anton Alikhanov at the National Civil Aviation Infrastructure exhibition.

“This year, the first Tu-214 aircraft will be delivered within the framework of the plans approved in the complex program,” he stated.

The Tu-214 is a medium-haul, narrow-body, twin-engine passenger aircraft. It can carry up to 210 passengers and is equipped with domestic systems.

In November 2024, the Tu-214 aircraft with new Russian components made its first flight, lasting 1 hour and 10 minutes.
