Armenians have not had an independent state for several centuries.

Axar.az reports that Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated this on Wednesday within the framework of the 5th annual International Religious Freedom Summit in Washington, D.C.

"Armenians have not had an independent state for several centuries. But 30 years ago, Armenia began to create its independence," the prime minister said.
