The activities of such organizations on the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan are regulated in accordance with national legislation, the principle of reciprocity between countries, and the requirements of agreements reached bilaterally.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by the press secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, Aykhan Hajizada, in response to a local media question about the termination of the activity of the Russian Federation's "Rossotrudnichestvo" agency in Azerbaijan.

After informing the Russian side that the Russian Information and Culture Center – "Russian House," the representative office of "Rossotrudnichestvo" in Azerbaijan, was not registered as a legal entity and had seriously violated Azerbaijani law, a note was sent to the Russian side on February 3, 2025, about the termination of the "Russian House's" activities.

Therefore, following Azerbaijan's decision to terminate the "Russian House" activities, relevant measures are expected to be taken by the Russian side in this regard.
