The "Winter Exercise - 2025" military exercises held in the Turkish city of Kars are continuing successfully.

Axar.az reports that Zeki Akturk, spokesman for the Turkish Ministry of National Defense, said this at a weekly briefing.

He said that the personnel are increasing their combat capabilities in cold climate conditions and raising their levels of readiness:

"Coordination between the military is ensured during the exercise."

According to the ministry official, the military participating in the exercise used the "NEFER" armored combat vehicle, a light machine gun (MPT-76), a 5.56-millimeter machine gun, and several other weapons and equipment for the first time.

It is reported that the exercises will end tomorrow.

The exercises involve 199,000 personnel from Azerbaijan, the United States, Bangladesh, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Italy, Pakistan, Kazakhstan, North Macedonia, Bulgaria, France, England, Libya, Mongolia, Niger, Tajikistan, and Jordan, and 12,000 from Turkiye.

It should be noted that the exercises began on January 20.
