The Ukrainian Armed Forces have launched a new offensive in the Kursk region.

Axar.az reports that the "Operation Z: War Correspondents of the Russian Spring" (RV) Telegram channel reported this.

According to military correspondents, the Ukrainian Armed Forces launched offensive operations on the morning of February 6. Ukrainian soldiers are trying to reach the village of Plekhovo.

Journalists write that the Ukrainian Armed Forces have brought armored vehicles to the fore. In front of them are mine-clearing vehicles.

Currently, fierce fighting is reported, but there are no reports of casualties.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces have taken control of the small village of Cherkasskaya Konopelka, which was previously in the "gray" zone.
