Emmanuel Macron has urged French arms manufacturers to increase production to attract European countries purchasing US-made products.

Axar.az informs that this was reported by Le Parisien.

The publication states that Macron emphasized the importance of increasing the production of Rafale fighter jets, rather than accelerating the purchase of planes from other countries.

He noted that countries purchasing US-made F-35 jets could be offered Rafale fighters, and the France-Italy jointly produced SAMP-T air defense systems could replace the US-made Patriot systems.
