The Houthis are ready to begin negotiations with the U.S. administration to achieve peace if their intentions are reciprocated.

Axar.az reports this information, citing Al Arabiya and one of the Houthi leaders.

"The American aggression is an unjustified attack and a violation of our sovereignty. Channels for negotiations may remain open; we have always maintained dialogue. If there is an attempt at a settlement, we are ready for peace," the statement said.

It should be noted that yesterday, by order of U.S. President Donald Trump, missile strikes were carried out on Houthi forces in Yemen. Rеports indicate that 31 people were killed in the strikes.
