Ukraine is undoubtedly in favor of peace. Russian President Vladimir Putin, however, is trying to delay the ceasefire.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer.

Calling on world countries to support a ceasefire, Starmer said that the world must take action:

"Forget empty words and conditions. My message is clear—sooner or later, Putin will have to come to the table."

Starmer stated that there is no alternative to US support in deterring Putin from attacking again:

"We must act together with the US. We are in contact with them every day."
