Moscow must clarify the possibility of a ceasefire and outline its conditions to ensure a constructive path toward de-escalation, French President Emmanuel Macron stated.

Axar.az reports that French President Emmanuel Macron made this statement.

Macron stated that Russia does not currently appear to seek peace:

"Russia does not give the impression of a country sincerely seeking peace. It does not respond to the proposals from the US and Ukraine. It is intensifying the fighting. President Putin wants to gain everything before entering negotiations."
