President Donald Trump's plan would leave the US in a difficult position in the Middle East.

Axar.az reports that Egyptian historian Professor Khaled Fahmy made this statement.

"Trump's plan not only violates all international laws but also infringes on the fundamental right of Palestinians, who are recognized as citizens of an independent state by the majority of the United Nations, to determine their own future. This proposal, which serves Israel's occupation plans, will not find any support in the Arab world. Even America's allies have stated they do not support the plan," Fahmy emphasized.

It is worth noting that Trump has proposed the relocation of the Gaza population to Egypt and Jordan "with no possibility of returning" and the transfer of Gaza under US control.
