The President of the Republic of Serbia, Milorad Dodik, has expressed his interest in a rare earth minerals agreement with US President Donald Trump.

Axar.az reports that in an interview with the magazine “The American Conservative”, he said this.

“We are ready to discuss a rare earth minerals agreement with President Trump,” he noted.

According to the President, the eastern region of the Republic of Serbia has significant deposits of lithium, magnesium, and other rare earth minerals, the commercial value of which, according to some estimates, exceeds $ 100 billion.

Dodik added that so far, they have not granted mining rights to “any country or foreign company” and that he is ready to discuss this issue exclusively with the American leader.
