Pakistan’s Foreign Minister, Muhammad Ishaq Dar, has reaffirmed that strengthening Pakistan-Azerbaijan relations remains a key priority for Islamabad.
Axar.az reports that during a ministerial meeting, Dar instructed officials to accelerate effective investment projects aimed at boosting economic growth and development between the two countries.
Political analyst Elkhan Shahinoglu highlighted that Azerbaijan plans to invest approximately $2 billion in various projects in Pakistan:
"Economic ties and trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Pakistan lag behind their strategic partnership. Therefore, it is crucial that this $2 billion is allocated to effective projects. This would not only enhance trade volume but also pave the way for new joint initiatives," he stated.
