The newly appointed Russian ambassador to the United States, Alexander Darchiyev, is already in Washington.

It should be noted that on February 18, during the talks held in Riyadh between Moscow and Washington, an agreement was reached on the appointment of ambassadors.

Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree on March 6 on the appointment of Alexander Darchiyev as Russia's ambassador to the United States.
