Ukraine has sent a request to the United States to make amendments to the broad economic agreement proposed by the Trump administration, including commitments to increase US investment.

During a video conference on March 28, Ukrainian officials discussed the details of the 60-page draft agreement with their American counterparts.

According to the draft, the United States will gain control over major infrastructure and mineral projects in Ukraine without a time limit.

Official Kiev is concerned that the agreement will complicate integration with Europe, and will also require the United States to pay back all military and economic assistance provided since the conflict began.

It should be noted that Ukrainian leader Zelensky previously stated that the assistance provided by the United States to date will not be considered debt.
