Amnesty International has urged Hungary to arrest Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and surrender him to the International Criminal Court (ICC) if he visits, citing war crimes and crimes against humanity.

Axar.az, citing Amnesty International, reports that Hungary’s invitation to Netanyahu is seen as an attempt to undermine the ICC and disregard international law.

Despite ICC-issued arrest warrants, several European countries and the U.S. have signaled they would not enforce them. Amnesty warns that failure to act would embolden further crimes and erode accountability in international justice.
