Yerevan’s refusal to contribute to the funding of the CSTO confirms that Armenia is doing everything possible to align itself with the West.

Axar.az reports that this statement was made by Russian State Duma deputy Alexey Zhuravlyov.

"Yerevan is making every effort to gain the West’s favor. The Armenian parliament has even officially decided on EU membership," Zhuravlyov said.

Notably, Armenia has not signed the 2024 budget of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO).
