Volodymyr Zelensky has ordered that Ukrainian officials who may provide the media with information about the details of a new draft agreement on resources with the United States undergo lie detector tests.
Axar.az informs that the Financial Times reported this information, citing sources in the Ukrainian government.
It was noted that employees of several ministries have already passed such tests. The Ukrainian Presidential Office refused to comment on these reports.
According to the information, attempts to find the source of the information leak began against the backdrop of another escalation of relations between Washington and Kyiv. According to FT's interlocutors, the demands put forward by the United States in the new version of the agreement caught the Ukrainian leadership by surprise.
It should be noted that on March 27, Kyiv announced that it had received a new version of the document from Washington. The document fell into the hands of a number of media outlets, including the FT, and Ukrainian opposition MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak, which caused Zelensky's discontent.
