Putin's "Easter ceasefire" was sudden, brief, and one-sided. It clearly showed the "wild cynicism" that Russia has demonstrated in its approach to peace.
Axar.az informs that this was reported in a plot published on CNN.
It was emphasized that the Kremlin's statement was made at a time when Washington said that it wanted to confirm in the coming days whether Moscow was serious about peace:
"But this sudden statement is fraught with so many practical shortcomings even before it is published that it will most likely be used by Putin simply to maintain the false impression that Kiev does not want to stop the war. For Ukrainian forces, such a sudden and immediate ceasefire would turn into a logistical nightmare."
According to the publication, a greater difficulty will be associated with disinformation:
“This will create confusion among the troops about whether the ceasefire has been violated, how to record violations and how to react to them. At the same time, there may be uncertainty about what to do when the suddenly declared ceasefire ends.”
It should be noted that Russia announced the cessation of all military operations in Ukraine from 18:00 the previous day to 00:00 on April 21 in connection with the Easter holiday. Ukrainian President Zelensky also gave an order to cease fire.
