I once again strongly condemn the attack and express my deepest condolences to the families of the victims. Targeting civilians is unacceptable.

Axar.az reports that UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres said this while speaking about the growing tension between India and Pakistan.

“Let us not forget that military intervention is not the solution. I am ready to serve as a mediator for both governments in the name of peace,” Guterres said.

It should be noted that India-Pakistan relations have been strained since the shooting of tourists in Jammu and Kashmir on April 22.
