Israel launched airstrikes on Houthi targets in Yemen's Hudaydah region in retaliation for a missile fired by the Iran-backed group at Ben Gurion Airport on Sunday, which injured six people.

Axar.az, citing BBC, reports that the IDF claimed it targeted sites used to transfer Iranian weapons and fund Houthi activities, including the Bajil cement factory.

The Houthis reported 21 injuries and accused both Israel and the US of joint aggression—an allegation the US denied.

The Houthis threatened to impose an "aerial blockade" in Israel in response to its Gaza operations. The strikes hit a vital Red Sea port critical for Yemen’s food imports.
