Vladimir Putin had a phone call with the President of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian.

Axar.az reports, according to Kremlin, the Russian leader once again expressed condolences regarding the explosion at Shahid Rajaee Port on April 26. The Iranian president thanked Moscow for its assistance and noted the high professionalism of the Ministry of Emergency Situations' specialists.

Pezeshkian warmly congratulated Putin and all Russians on the 80th anniversary of Victory Day.

The presidents discussed Iranian-American negotiations, with Putin confirming Moscow's readiness to assist in advancing dialogue.

Putin and Pezeshkian thoroughly discussed the development of bilateral cooperation, focusing particularly on the economy, including major projects in the fields of transport and energy.
