A trial was held in the criminal case of Ukrainian criminal authority Oleg Krapivin (Oleg Bakinsky) and his co-accused Konstantin Kucher.
Axar.az reports that during the trial chaired by the judge of the Baku Grave Crimes Court, Elnur Nuriyev, Oleg Krapivin's lawyer, Kheiransa Babayeva, said that he has heart problems.
"My client has serious health problems. Therefore, I ask that the preventive measure chosen for him be changed," she said.
The petition was granted, and the preventive measure chosen for Oleg Bakinsky was changed, and he was released from the courtroom.
It should be noted that in the criminal case, Russian citizen Zakharenkov Valery Nikolayevich, "Aviazapchast" OJSC, and "Promyshlennie Postavki Kazakhstan" LLC were recognized as victims.
Oleg Bakinsky was arrested in Baku by the Main Department for Combating Organized Crime of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Later, a preventive measure of arrest was chosen for him.
According to the indictment, the accused Konstantin Kucher received a large amount of money from the victim companies by promising to import spare parts for civil aircraft from Ukraine and sell them in India, Kazakhstan, and other countries. He is accused of transferring the seized funds to bank accounts in Asia and Europe and using them for his personal needs.
The indictment states that the victims came to Baku to meet with Konstantin Kucher. Then, together with Oleg Krapivin, they went to his office in Baku. At that time, an argument broke out between them.
Oleg Krapivin was charged under Articles 221.3 (hooliganism committed with the use of objects used as weapons) and 127.2.3 (Intentional infliction of minor harm to health) of the Criminal Code, while the other accused, Konstantin Kucher, was charged under Articles 178.4 (fraud - especially with the use of large-scale damage) and 221.3 (hooliganism committed with the use of objects used as weapons).
